Napane Waterfall
Konkan is famous for its seasonal monsoon waterfalls. During monsoon one can see a number of waterfalls cascading down along the mountain range. But all these waterfalls vanish once the monsoon is over. Napane Waterfall is an exception. This is the only round the year waterfall in Sindhudurg.
Napne is a small village in Vaibhavwadi Tehsil in the Konkan region of Maharashtra. This fall has its origin in Nadhavde, 5 kms upstream. At Nadhavde a water spring has sprouted suddenly at one place. Locals call it as “umala”. After a journey of around 4-5 kms the river jumps down resulting in a waterfall. Surrounded by lush green forest this spot has a scenic beauty.

Nivli Waterfall
Once you cross the Baav river, near Sangameshwar, on the Mumbai-Goa highway, you come across the Niwali Ghat. You are forced to stop while traveling on this ghat to see the spectacular waterfall, flowing with force while cutting through the greenery. Standing on the edge of the road, you are awestruck at seeing the gorgeous Niwali waterfall. During Shravan, in the peak of rainy season, you can see the sun rays peeping through the clouds which are rapidly flowing over the waterfall and the forest
Savatkada Waterfall
Savatkada Waterfall is a popular tourist attraction in the Konkan region. This weird name will definitely intrigue you. It is also known as Chuna Kolvan waterfall. It is a tall semi-circular waterfall in the forest to the north of Rajapur.
Legend has it that this waterfall was formed as a result of a crater formation that lies at the base of it. Relish the magnificence of the sparkling water descending with a big roar. Savdav Waterfall

There is an alluring waterfall at a village named Savdav in Kankavli Tehsil. Being safe for swimming, it is crowded with tourists, especially during rainy season. You can directly let the water pour over your body. The road leading to the spot of the fall is full of curvings and ups and downs, with pleasant greenery all around. You can enjoy bathing and swimming at both sides of the fall. There is a small cave-type space at the stream-side, often used for keeping tiffin – material etc. You can reach this picnic spot by a tar-road off Mumbai-Goa-Highway (NH-17) either from Otav or from Belane.
