Maldoli
Maldoli is a small yet a picturesque village situated on the bank of river Vashishti. It is located 45 kms from Chiplun in the Konkan region. The main attraction of this village is a unique boat ride on pristine backwaters with a thrilling experience with crocodiles who are freely residing in this river. In a single safari you have a possibility to see at least 10 to 20 crocodiles. Apart from crocodile safari, the picturesque nature and different types of birds attracts the tourist.

About Maldoli
Maldoli is a very small village with very less contact with the noisy outside world. God has blessed this village with very scenic nature & soothing climate although this village is unknown to many. Nowadays though tourists are visiting this place to travel the backwaters. But the main attraction here is the crocodile safari. These days the crocodile safari is done speed boats. You can easily witness 10 to 20 crocodiles in a single safari with lengths ranging around 8-10 feet. June to September is the best period to visit this place as the climate is soothing with greenery everywhere.
The villages on the banks of the river Vashishti, picturesque nature, the islands in the banks of the river, the praceful climate far away from the noisy cities is really worth experiencing. Though the tourists are more interested in the Crocodile Safari.
