About Jai Ganesh Temple

Those who are spiritually inclined should take some time to visit this beautiful temple that is a testament to the area’s culture. Mr Jayant Salgaonkar built this impressive temple in 2004 in Medha, a minor ward of Malvan. It is now a popular tourist attraction.

Adorned in hues of white and gold, the temple is a sight to behold, with its divine idols of Lord Ganesha, Riddhi, and Siddhi welcoming visitors with a sense of serenity and grace. The intricate design and spacious layout of the temple offer a calming ambiance, perfect for quiet contemplation and reflection.

Visitors often find themselves enchanted by the golden idol of Lord Ganesha, a symbol of purity and prosperity, standing alongside his consorts Riddhi and Siddhi. The temple's quiet and clean premises provide a soothing environment for spiritual seekers and tourists alike, with no entry fee or donation compulsion, allowing for a peaceful and undisturbed visit.

Surrounded by the scenic beauty of Malvan and located just a short drive away from attractions like the rock garden and Sindhudurg fort, the Jai Ganesh Mandir offers a tranquil oasis in the bustling city. Whether you're seeking a moment of calmness, a spiritual experience, or simply a chance to admire the beauty of the temple's architecture, a visit to this sacred place promises to be a rejuvenating and memorable experience for all who wander through its doors.

Ganesh Jayanti, celebrated on the 4th day of Magh month, marks the best time to visit the temple. This day also marks the anniversary of this temple. As per the locals, one should visit the temple on the holy occasion of Makar Sankranti as this is when one can see the direct sunlight falling on the foot of the idol.
