About Talashil Tondavli Beach

Located just 25km from Malvan city, Tondavali beach is a replica of Tarkarli beach and is a popular destination for tourists looking to relax and rejuvenate. The beach offers a variety of water sports, such as sailing, water-scooter riding, banana rides, and scuba diving near Kawada rock island. Tourists can also explore the twin islands Khot-Juva and Paan-khot Juva, located in the Kalaval creek, and visit Sangam point, where the creek meets the Arabian Sea. The main occupation of Tondavali villagers is fishing, and visitors can sample the local fish such as Bangada, surmai, Paplet, Kolambi, and Tarli. Lastly, the Bhadrakali temple in Rewari village can be visited by boat from Talashil, and the Sarjekot port is being developed to the south of Tondavali. At the same time, a world-class ‘sea-world’ project is proposed to take shape shortly.

The beach is known for its clear waters and white sands where you can walk for miles along the shoreline without encountering crowds. Dolphins are often spotted near Tondavli Beach, making it a fantastic spot for nature lovers.

Please remember that as the area is still developing, there might not be many luxurious accommodations, but homestays and guesthouses including MTDC resorts are available.

If you're planning to visit, the best time would be between October to March when the weather is pleasant for beach activities. Always adhere to local guidelines and respect nature during your visit.
