Achara Beach is 22 kilometres north of Malvan and accessible by road. Achara can even be reached by walking along the Tondavali beach. During the migrating season, cruising in the sea near Achara Beach provides an opportunity to see various birds. Peacocks and other indigenous birds can also be seen here. Dolphins are frequently seen in the estuary. The best time to see dolphins is between October and February. At this time of year, the sea is calm. Swimming in the ocean is also safe during this time.
