About Savatkada Waterfall / Chuna Kolvan

Legend has it that this waterfall was formed as a result of a crater formation that lies at the base of it. Relish the magnificence of the sparkling water descending with a big roar. The best season to see the glorious waterfall is in monsoon as it is during monsoons that rivers are fully flowing, and mountains are conscious after a long period of sleep. 

The Savatkada waterfall cascades into the valley from 125 feets height that creates a stunning sight to behold. There is a nice pool at the base which is safe most of the time except during intense rainfall. For reaching the waterfall, you need to patiently walk on a soil path. It's an ideal spot for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts who wish to capture the splendid beauty of Mother Nature.
