Highlighted by the surrounding cliffs and turquoise blue waters, Devghali Beach offers a serene environment away from the crowded city life. This secluded beach is perfect for those who are looking for solitude and peace.

 

The beach isn't commercialized and maintains its natural charm. There are no eateries or shacks on the beach itself, so visitors are advised to carry their own food and water. Also, remember to keep the beach clean and don't leave any litter behind.

 

Devghali Beach is also ideal for swimming as the waters are clean. However, please be mindful of the sea currents and avoid going too far out into the ocean.

Scattered across the golden shore are boulders, thus making swimming hard. But despite the rocky shoreline, Kasheli beach is a beautiful example of nature’s creation.The beach has a table point that is a must-visit. From here, visitors can enjoy aerial views of the entire beach and the Arabian Sea. It is a great place to witness the sunset. Another attraction is the cave on the opposite mountain.

 

How to Reach: It is located about 40 kms from Ratnagiri city. You can hire a cab or take your own vehicle to reach there. From Mumbai or Pune, it’s around 300 - 400 kms via road which will roughly take about 6-7 hours.

 

Accommodation: While there are no accommodations available at Devghali Beach itself, you can find several hotels and resorts in the nearby town of Rajapur or Ratnagiri city. One option is the MTDC Resort in Ratnagiri, which can be booked online.
