7-8 kms from Ambolgad village one road on the right leads you to Godavne beach. Hidden from the majority of tourists this 4 km stretch of spotless white sand is too immense to be captured in a single eye-span. Small boats of fishermen, a thick Cypress i.e Suru forest, sea eagles soaring high in the sky, huge banyan trees in the villages by the shore and the utter calm that envelopes everything...while taking all this in, time truly stands still.
