About Shree Koleshwar Temple, Kolthare
Shri Dev Koleshwar is an ancient Shiva temple in Kolthare and is considered to be a 'pratirup' of Lord Shiva. The temple is the 'kula-daiwat' of most Bhave, Barve, Wad, Kolhatkar, Bapye, Soman, Gomarkar, Bam, Pethe, Jogdanda, Datar, Modak and Kunte families.
Known for its magical powers said to cure diseases and ailments, the simplistic and minimalist architecture of the temple makes it a calming and serene house of worship.
