About Veer Ranpatcha (Ukshi) Waterfall

The waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery and offers serene views, making it an ideal spot for picnic and photography. However, there are not many amenities available nearby, so visitors are suggested to carry their own food and water.

The eye-catching Ranpat Waterfall is one that visitors and tourists can plainly see when travelling on the legendary Konkan Railway. During the rainy season, these vertical streams creeping through the velvety-looking Sahyadri hills come pouring down on the lush green foliage.

The Ranpat village lies off the Mumbai – Goa highway leading to Ukshi village from Sangameshwar taluka. The waterfall is just a small stroll away from the village. The abundance of the water is indeed startling.

Please note that during monsoon, the area can get quite slippery, so one needs to be careful while exploring the waterfall.
